SustainAsia selected by the Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Ltd (HKEx)

SustainAsia has been appointed by the Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Limited (HKEx) as the independent verifier of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report.
SustainAsia will independently carry out the verification process through high level analysis and stakeholders interviews, using Enablon Audit and Compliance System (ACS) application and in accordance with internationally recognized standards and guidelines.

This allows them to gain more credibility for their reporting exercise by following a systematic and rigorous reporting process based on international guidelines.�
HKEx will publish its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report in March 2009, covering its performance in four major areas: environment, workplace, marketplace and community. HKEx is the exchange controller and frontline financial regulator in Hong Kong and plays a leading role in safeguarding Hong Kong as an international financial centre.
